About Us

With over 22 years in the benefits industry, Nancy has the experience and knowledge our clients have come to expect. She worked her way up from Administrative Assistant to Partner in a Tacoma agency prior to venturing out her own to start Olympic Crest Insurance in 1996.

Nancy has served as President of the SW Washington Association of Health Underwriters, served on the Junior Achievement of Washington Board of Directors and continues to be an active volunteer with Junior Achievement and Washington Business Week, in addition to maintaining membership in several professional and community organizations.

Nancy is a licensed agent and broker in Washington, Oregon & Arizona. She earned her Registered Health Underwriter (RHU) designation in 1991 and continues to pursue further education opportunities in order to better serve her clients.

She is native to Washington State and currently resides in Gig Harbor with her family. When not selling insurance or spending time with her family, she can usually be found in the kitchen. You can find her recipes at her blog: www.cookshootblog.com.

Melissa Nesland joined Olympic Crest Insurance in 2010 with nearly 10 years of business experience in Human Resources and Employee Benefits. Melissa has re-entered the work force after staying home with her children for a few years. While at home, Melissa worked as an independent contractor, assisting a former client, Talyst, with their Human Resources function. Prior to that, she was with Kibble & Prentice in Seattle for 5 years. While at Kibble & Prentice, Melissa worked her way up from an Account Manger to an Account Executive where she worked on a wide range of groups from large to small. While at Kibble & Prentice, Melissa was awarded the “Heavy Hitter” award for her outstanding sales numbers and the Employee Benefits “Pathfinder” (Employee of the year) award. Before joining Kibble & Prentice, Melissa worked in the Human Resources field.Melissa is a licensed agent and broker in Washington, with an expertise in Medical, Dental, Disability and Life.

Melissa is currently a member of the Society of Human Resources Management. She enjoys volunteering at her church and is currently the Finance Manager for her local MOPS group. Melissa grew up in Eastern Washington and has lived in the Pacific Northwest her entire life. She currently resides in Gig Harbor with her husband and three children.

Amy Mosley brings over 15 years of administrative experience to Olympic Crest Insurance. With a diverse background in Human Resources, Recruiting and Law-Enforcement Support, her dedication to customer service and caring attitude make a positive impact within our agency. She is the one to call for group eligibility changes, claims issues, ID card replacements and COBRA administration. Amy obtained her Washington State Producer License for Life & Disability in May of 2011 and now handles all Individual and Medicare client sales as well.

She currently resides in University Place with her husband and two teenage daughters. She enjoys reading, shopping, movies and traveling.

Heidi Martin joined Olympic Crest Insurance in April of 2011 with over 10 years’ experience in the Financial Services and Employee Benefits industry.

Heidi’s industry career began as an office assistant for Albers & Company where she was quickly promoted to become the first financial service account manager. After a five year tenure there, she transitioned to Portfolio Strategies Operation Department, a national investment advisory firm based in Tacoma. This was an exciting opportunity where she gained knowledge of operations from a different perspective.

Heidi enjoys traveling, walking, and sewing and is a member of a book club and a bunko group. She grew up in Gig Harbor and has lived in the area most of her life, with some time spent in London, England and Honolulu, Hawaii.
